Built by people whose name is on the sign
We started framing houses around Wausau in 1998. The crew is bigger now and the trucks are newer, but the standard hasn’t moved.
Built right, since 1998.
Stillwater is a third-generation outfit. Grandpa framed barns and machine sheds around Marathon County, and Dad built ranch homes through the seventies and eighties. We started Stillwater in 1998 with one crew and the habit we were raised on: do it right or do it again. Today the design table and the crews work under one roof, and the warranty is signed by the same people who pour the footings. The person who draws your home eats lunch with the person who frames it. When you call, a builder answers. Not a call center.
How we build
Design-build
One contract and one schedule. When a beam has to move, it gets solved at our table that week, not argued between two companies.
Our own crews
Lead carpenters who’ve been with us eleven, fourteen, and nineteen years. Same trucks in your driveway from footings to punch list.
Real warranty
A one-year walk-through, two years on mechanicals, ten on the structure, all in writing. Call in year nine and someone you know shows up.
See what we can build for you.
